National Cross Certification Program
The program was developed to provide companies with a National approach to the new Mortgage Continuing Education requirements that are sweeping across the Country. This program best fits our clients that have centralized call centers that conduct and transact business in multiple states. Each one of our course modules have been approved in all of the listed twenty-one states for the same amount of mortgage continuing education credit. Thus enabling us to cross certify and transfer credits for those students that successfully complete our National Cross Certification Course.
The National “Core” Course is comprised of the state with the largest required amount of credit hours and strictest continuing education requirements along with any required state law supplements (i.e. Maryland requires twenty hours of continuing education and is often used as the “core”). This cross certification approach allows us to ensure that your company is in compliance and offers a very economic and time efficient approach to fulfilling the necessary state requirements.
Example: A student purchases Maryland 20 Hour Course and wishes to cross certify with the pennsylvania 6 Hour Course.
“Core Course” “Law Supplement” “Certificates”
MD 20 Hour + PA Law 1 Hour = 20 Hour MD Certificate
6 Hour PA Certificate
The student would need to complete ALL 20 hours of MD education as well as the required 1 hour PA State Law Supplement. Upon successful completion of ALL sections, separate State certificates will be issued.
